Nissan Offers First Look at Brand-new 2014 Nissan Rogue

by Nissan in the News on August 22, 2013

The 2013 Nissan Rogue is currently on a streak of four consecutive monthly sales records, including a May performance in which Nissan’s compact crossover achieved its highest one-month sales total ever. In fact, with seven months of sales now in the books for 2013, the Nissan Rogue is ahead of last year’s pace by 13 percent and has delivered more than 100,000 units in this country alone.

But that kind of success is just a prelude to what comes next, since the completely redesigned 2014 Nissan Rogue has now been scheduled to make its public debut on Sept. 10, 2013. Now, at this stage, the automaker hasn’t done much more than show off the new Nissan Rogue’s left headlamp, so details are few and far between, but it’s a safe bet the new model will come to market with a comprehensive upgrade over the current one, which already provides owners with:

  • A current starting point of $20,310
  • Responsive performance from a 170-horsepower 4-cyliner engine that achieves up to 28 mpg highway
  • 16-, 17- and 18-in. wheel choices
  • Premium amenities such as leather-appointed seats with a heated front row
  • Advanced technologies like Nissan Navigation, the brand’s Around View system and premium Bose audio with eight speakers (including an Nd Richbass woofer)
  • Available intelligent all-wheel drive

It’s also worth noting that the 2013 Nissan Rogue boasts a trophy case full of industry honors, including, most recently, the Best Retained Value Award in its segment from

“Earning this 2013 Best Retained Value Award accolade from further solidifies Rogue’s place in a very competitive segment,” noted Jon Brancheau, vice president of Marketing for Nissan North America, Inc.
